R ____NOTE : 90. shrinkable mouldings contain a memory and should be at
R a 90. angle after shrinking. It can be necessary during
R the shrinking operation to hold the outlet of the moulding
R in its 90. position until it is cool.
R (b) When delivery-coated with adhesive sealant
R - Roughen the external side of the shrunken sleeve in the bonding
R area with emery cloth (grain 320 or finer).
R - Clean the roughened areas with a cleaning agent.
R - Install the moulding on the shrunken sleeve and the rear
R connector.
R - Select the applicable shrinking tool.
R - Install the applicable reflector on the shrinking tool
R according to the dimensions of the part to be shrunk.
R - Start shrinking at the connector (You must start shrinking at
R the point where a specified position is required).
R ____NOTE : During shrinking, turn the moulding in the heat flow, if
R possible, to obtain equal distribution of temperature.
R - Do not let the harness touch the reflector during shrinking.
R - Shrinking is completed when the mouldings fit closely and when
R the form is flush.
R - If used, remove any unwanted sealant immediately with a clean
R cloth.
