A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the ground service network is energized (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notices is on panel 25VU to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position below the access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(6)
Make sure that the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR are open (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001) or removed (Ref. TASK 52-41-21-000-001) and (Ref. TASK 52-41-22-000-001).
(7)
Make sure that the LIGHT SW 11LJ is set to the ON position.

A. Preparation for Installation
(1)
Clean the tie-rods (4) and (6) and the vibration isolator (16) with solvent CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-001) and a fiber-bristled brush.
(2)
Do a check and make sure that the tie-rods (4) and (6) are in correct condition.
(3)
If the tie-rods and/or the vibration isolator are damaged, replace them if necessary.
