001).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. On the overhead panel 25VU: On the overhead panel 25VU:
-push the APU MASTER SW - the ON legend in the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the ON pushbutton switch comes on. position. - the air intake flap opens.
2. On the ECAM panel: On the ECAM systems page:
-push the pushbutton APU. - the FLAP OPEN indication comes on.
3. Examine the contour of the air - the contour should be in line. The intake flap and the air intake maximum deviation B of the flap is structure. 1.0 mm (0.0393 in.).
NOTE : If the air intake flap is not in line with the structure, remove the
____ rubber cover on the lower part of the flap actuator rod for access. Disconnect the cotter pin, nut and the bolt that attaches the lower part of the actuator rod to the air intake flap. Adjust the actuator rod length to get the correct position. Then connect the actuator rod to the air intake flap.
4. On the overhead panel 25VU: On the overhead panel 25VU:
-release the APU MASTER SW - the ON legend in the APU MASTER SW pushbutton switch to the off pushbutton switch goes off. position. - the air intake flap closes.
