3. Job Set-up

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that the hydraulic systems are depressurized (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
NOTE : The installation of the APU is also possible without a removal
____ of the access doors. However, a removal of the doors will:
-
make the access to the APU compartment better.
-
make the installation and use of the hoist tool easier.
-
reduce the risk of injury to the personal.
-
reduce the risk of damaging the doors with the maintenance platform.
(5) Make sure that the:
-the oil-cooler outlet duct is removed (Ref. TASK 49-52-41-000-001).
-exhaust muffler is disconnected and moved rearwards.
