(e)
Remove any contamination from the contact areas of the bonding strap.
(f)
Install one bonding strap (6) with a washer (4) and a nut (5) on each setscrew (8).
(g)
Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-020) on the nuts (5) and (7) and the setscrews (8).
(2)
Install the rear APU mount-bracket (4085KM).
(Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 49-11-11-991-015)
(a)
Carefully put the rear APU mount-bracket (2) in position on the rear mount pad.
(b)
Attach the rear APU mount-bracket (2) to the APU with the bolts (1).
(c)
TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 2.6 and 3.0 m.daN (19.17 and
22.12 lbf.ft) and safety with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).

B. Installation of the APU Generator (8XS)
(Ref. Fig. 203/TASK 49-11-11-991-016)
(1) Installation of the Seal Plate.
(a)
Lubricate the seals (29) and (30) of the new seal plate (23) with a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(b)
Put the seal plate (23) on the flange of the APU generator (8XS)
(21) in position.
NOTE : Make sure that the dowel pin (28) engages correctly with
____
the pilot hole (27).
(c) Lubricate the countersunk screws (26) with OILS (Material No. 03-002) and install the countersunk screws (26).
(2) Installation of the APU Generator (8XS)
(a)
Lubricate the new packing (22) and the new seal (25) with a thin layer of OILS (Material No. 03-002).
(b)
Install the new seal (25) on the generator splined drive shaft and the new preformed packing (22) on the generator mount flange.
(c)
Install the Generator WARNING : DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE THREADS OF THE SET SCREWS
_______ WHEN YOU REMOVE OR INSTALL THE GENERATOR. THE GENERATOR WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 23kg (50.7lb).
-put the generator (21) over the nuts (24) and turn it clockwise to engage the slots.
(d)
Make sure that the dowel pin (28) fully engages in the mounting flange of the accessory drive gearbox.
(e)
TORQUE the nuts (24) to between 3.9 and 4.4 m.daN (28.76 and
32.44 lbf.ft).
NOTE : Use ADAPTER - TORQUE as required.

-clean the nuts (24) of the APU generator (8XS) with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004).
(g) Mark the tightened generator nuts (24) with PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-560).

C. Installation of the Compartment-Cooling Duct (8054KM)

(1) Put the seal (40) in position on the compartment-cooling duct (41) and hold it in position with the bolt (42) and the washer (43).
NOTE : Make sure that the compartment-cooling duct is installed in
____ the correct position. The airflow outlets must point up.
(2)
Put the compartment-cooling duct (41) in position on the flange of the APU cooling-fan discharge-duct.
(3)
Attach the compartment-cooling duct (41) with the bolts (42) and the washers (43).
(4)
Tighten the bolts (42).
