A. Preparation for Build-up
(1)
Remove the Auxiliary Power Unit (0) from the transport container.
(2)
Install the APU on the SUPPORT FRAME - APU (98D49207527000). (Ref. Fig. 201/TASK 49-11-11-991-022)
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the APU Mount-Brackets
(1) Installation of the FWD left and the FWD right APU mount-brackets. (Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 49-11-11-991-017)
(a)
Carefully put the FWD APU mount-bracket (LH) (3) and the FWD APU mount-bracket (RH) (9) in position. Make sure that the spigot is correctly engaged in the APU.
(b)
Install the 4 bolts (1) at each of the mount-brackets.
(c)
TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 2.6 and 3.0 m.daN (19.17 and
22.12 lbf.ft).
(d)
Safety with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(e)
Install one setscrew (8) at each of the FWD APU mount-brackets
(3) and (9) and lock it in position with the nut (7).
(f)
Remove any contamination from the contact areas of the bonding strap.
(g)
Install one bonding strap (6) with a washer (4) and a nut (5) on each setscrew (8).
(h)
Apply PAINTS FOR DETAIL (INTERNAL AND EXTERN AL) (Material No. 07-020) on the nuts (5) and (7) and the setscrews (8).

(2) Install the rear APU mount-bracket.
(Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 49-11-11-991-017)
(a)
Carefully put the rear APU mount-bracket (2) in position on the rear mount pad.
(b)
Attach the rear APU mount-bracket (2) to the APU with the 4 bolts (1).
(c)
TORQUE the bolts (1) to between 2.6 and 3.0 m.daN (19.17 and
22.12 lbf.ft) and safety with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
