 Measurement of internal leakage is done with a ground hydraulic supply and a flowmeter.
 The LMS manifold also makes it possible to isolate parts of the system for maintenance.
 The main system is connected with the PTU through the PTU manifold 3015GM. The PTU manifold also has a connection to the flap system. The PTU connections are:
R 1EFF : 059-099, 102-149, 151-199, 201-299, 1 29-13-00Page 22 1301-399, 401-499, 1Aug 01/05 1 1 1CES 1


 - one inlet/outlet from/to the PTU,
 - one inlet from the HP manifold,
 - one outlet to the HP manifold,
 - one outlet to the RH motor of the flap power control unit.
 A solenoid valve installed on the PTU manifold controls (together with the
 equivalent solenoid valve of the Green hydraulic system ) the flow of fluid
 to/from the PTU. A single pushbutton switch 1802GL in the flight compartment
 controls the operation of the two solenoid valves. When the pushbutton
 switch is operated, the two solenoid valves are energized and the supply of
 fluid to/from the PTU is stopped. 
R  **ON A/C 001-049, 051-058, 101-101, 

R  The priority valve 3064GM is installed on the PTU manifold. It stops the 
R  supply of fluid to non-essential consumers if the system pressure is too 
R  low. The priority valve closes at 130 +0 -3 bar (1885 +0 -43 psi) and opens 
R  at 140 +0 -5 bar (2030 +0 -72.5 psi). 

R  Two check valves 3093GM and 3094GM are installed on the PTU manifold. They 
R  control the flow of fluid in the manifold. 

R  The Yellow hydraulic system supplies these consumers: 
R  - direct from the EDP/electric pump/ground supply, 
R  - the RH (No. 2) engine thrust reverser. 

R  - from the HP manifold (through the LMS manifold), 
R  - the LH and RH spoiler 2, 
R  - the LH and RH spoiler 4, 
R  - the LH flap Wing-Tip Brake (WTB), 
R  - the RH elevator, 
R  - the rudder, 
R  - the Trimmable Horizontal Stabilizer (THS), 
R  - the yaw damper. 

R  - from the HP manifold (not through the LMS manifold), 
R  - the FWD and AFT cargo doors, 
R  - the brake manifold. 

R  - from the brake manifold, 
R  - the alternate and parking brakes. 

R  - from the PTU manifold (downstream of the priority valve) 
R  - the PTU, 
R  - the RH motor of the flap PCU.

 

R R R  It is possible to supply all of the consumers from the ground supply connections. 
R  **ON A/C 059-099, 102-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399,
