Examine the connections of pulsation dampener (3) and make sure that there are no leaks.

Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5)
Put a container under the electric pump. Subtask 29-12-51-865-050

A. Removal of the Electric Pump
CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
R R NOTE : You will need a second person to hold the pump while you remove____ the nuts (14). The pump weighs approximately 15 Kg (33 lb.).
R (1) Cut and remove the lockwire from the electrical connector (9).
(2) Disconnect the electrical connector (9) from the pump (6).
(3) Install blanking caps on the electrical connector (9) and the receptacle.
(4) Remove the clamp (7) and disconnect the air hose (8) from the pump (6).
R (5) Remove the access panel 195AB with the air hose (8).
