A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the external power connector is not connected to the aircraft receptacle (20XG) (receptacle behind the access door 121AL).
(2)
Make sure that the warning notice(s) is (are) in position on the access door 121AL to tell persons not to connect the external power connector.
(3)
In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU, make sure that these pushbutton switches are released:
-APU GEN,
-1 BAT 2,
-GEN1, GEN2,
-EXT PWR.
(4)
In the cockpit, make sure that the warning notice(s) to tell persons not to operate the pushbutton switches is (are) in position on these overhead panels:
-21VU (EMER ELEC PWR),
-25VU (APU),
-35VU (ELEC).
(5)
Make sure that the access platform is in position at the access door
822.
(6)
Make sure that the access door 822 is open.
(7)
Make sure that the cover (1) of the panel 107 VU is removed.
4. Procedure

A. Installation of the Contactor
(1)
Install the contactor (2) on the 6 tapped barrels (7) of the contactor base (8).
(2)
Install the washers (6) and the screws (5).
(3)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (4).
(4)
Examine the electrical connector (4) for dirt inside the connector. If the connector is dirty, clean it with a lint-free cloth and CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-002).
(5)
Connect the electrical connector (4) to the receptacle (3). Subtask 29-12-55-860-052
B.
Preparation for the Test
(1)
In the cockpit, on the overhead panel 35VU:
-push the APU GEN, GEN 1 and GEN 2 pushbutton switches.
(2)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

C. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

D. Operational Test
(1) Do the operational test of the Blue electric pump (Ref. TASK 29-12-00-710-001).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
De-energize the electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-862-002).

B. Close Access
(1)
Install the cover (1) on the panel 107VU.
(2)
Close the access door 822.
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4)
Remove the warning notice(s).
