A. Removal of the Check Valve R WARNING : DO NOT GET THE FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. IF YOU DO:
_______ R - FLUSH IT AWAY WITH CLEAN WATER R - GET MEDICAL AID.
CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE FLUID DOES NOT STAY ON THE AIRCRAFT
_______ STRUCTURE. IF THE FLUID GETS ON THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE, WASH IT OFF IMMEDIATELY WITH SOAP AND WATER.
FOR 2170GM
(1)
Disconnect the coupling nuts (3) and (5) and remove the pipe (4).
(2)
Remove the check valve (2) from the coupling nut (1). FOR 2405GM
(3)
Cut, remove and discard the tie-wrap (6) then remove the support plug (7).
(4)
Remove the nuts (8), the spring washers (9), the sleeves (10), the bolts (12) and the clamp (11).
(5)
Disconnect the coupling nuts (3) and (5) and remove the pipe (4).
(6)
Remove the check valve (2) from the coupling nut (1).
(7)
For 2170GM and 2405GM:
(a)
Remove the container and correctly dispose of the hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(c)
Remove the container and correctly dispose of the hydraulic fluid.
