B. Get Access
(1) Put the access platform in position at the access door 197FB.

Open the access door 197FB. Subtask 29-12-41-860-052

Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
WARNING : OBEY THE HYDRAULIC SAFETY PROCEDURES.

(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5)
Drain the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-680-003).
(6)
Put a container below the reservoir.

4. Procedure

A. Removal of the Low Level Switch
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (11).
(2)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connector (11) and on the receptacle.
(3)
Remove the bolts (10) and the washers (9).
(4)
Remove the low level switch (8) from the reservoir (1).
(5)
Discard the O-ring (7).
(6)
Put a blanking plug in the port of the reservoir (1).
(7)
Put the low level switch (8) into a plastic bag to keep it clean.
