Put the new square-section seal (24) in position on the side of the bobbin (23) without the identification groove (equipment side).

Put the new back-up ring (92) in position on the side of the
bobbin (23) with the identification groove (manifold side).

Put the new O-ring (93) in position on the side of the bobbin

(y)
Install the bobbin (23) with the identification groove in the
port of the manifold (26) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(z)
Put the two new back-up rings (96) in position on the sides of
the bobbins (30) without the identification grooves (equipment
side).
(aa) Put the two new square-section seals (31) in position on the sides of the bobbins (30) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(ab) Put the two new back-up rings (95) in position on the sides of the bobbins (30) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(ac) Put the two new O-rings (94) in position on the sides of the bobbins (30) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(ad) Install the two bobbins (30) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (26) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(ae) Put the two new back-up rings (38) in position on the sides of the bobbins (39) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(af) Put the two new square-section seals (40) in position on the sides of the bobbins (39) without the identification grooves (equipment side).
(ag) Put the two new back-up rings (98) in position on the sides of the bobbins (39) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(ah) Put the two new O-rings (97) in position on the sides of the bobbins (39) with the identification grooves (manifold side).
(ai) Install the two bobbins (39) with the identification grooves in the ports of the manifold (26) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001).
(aj) Install the priority valve 2064GM (Ref. TASK 29-12-33-400-001).
(ak) Install the relief valve 2063GM (Ref. TASK 29-12-32-400-001).

(al) Install the leakage-measurement solenoid valve 2150GP (Ref. TASK 29-19-51-400-002).
(am) Install the HP filter 2048GM as follows:
1_ Put the HP filter 2048GM in the installation position on the
manifold (26).
2_ Install the two bolts (35) and the two bolts (36) and the four
washers (37).
3_ TORQUE the bolts (35) and (36) to between 1.6 and 1.8 m.daN
(11.79 and 13.27 lbf.ft).

B. Installation of the HP Manifold CAUTION : USE A SECOND WRENCH TO APPLY COUNTERTORQUE TO THE UNION WHEN
_______ YOU DISCONNECT/CONNECT HYDRAULIC LINES ON UNIONS. IF YOU USE THE SECOND WRENCH, YOU WILL NOT LOOSEN OR TIGHTEN THE UNION TOO MUCH.
CAUTION : YOU MUST INSTALL HYDRAULIC TUBES WITH HYDRAULIC FLUID AS
_______ LUBRICANT.
(1)
Remove the sealant from the contact surface of the manifold (26) and the aircraft structure with a plastic or wooden scraper.
(2)
Examine the structure of the aircraft in the area of the manifold attachment for cracks, corrosion or other damage.
(3)
Apply a layer of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the contact surface of the manifold (26).
(4)
Remove the blanking plugs from the pipe connections.
(5)
Make sure that the hydraulic line end-fittings are serviceable.
(6)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the pipe end-fittings.
(7)
Put the manifold (26) in position on the aircraft.
(8)
Install the two bolts (61) and the washers (62).
(9)
Install the two bolts (41) and the nuts (42).

Connect the tee-connector (1) to the union (3).
(11)
TORQUE the pipe end-fitting (2) to between 7.5 and 8.3 m.daN (55.30 and 61.20 lbf.ft).
