Remove the blanking plugs from the fluid sampling valve (1) and the manifold.
(4)
Apply HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) to the threads of the fluid sampling valve (1) and to the new 0-ring (2).
(5)
Put the O-ring (2) in position on the fluid sampling valve (1).
(6)
Install the fluid sampling valve (1) on the manifold.
(7)
TORQUE the fluid sampling valve (1) to between 1.77 and 1.88 m.daN
(13.05 and 13.86 lbf.ft).
(8)
Make sure that the protective cap is tight.
(9)
Safety the protective cap to the valve body and the valve body to the manifold with lockwire, corrosion-resistant steel, 0.8 mm (0.032 in.) dia.

B. Test
(1)
Remove the warning notices from the cockpit and the ground service panel.
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(3)
Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(4)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(5)
Examine the connection of the fluid sampling valve (1) and the manifold and make sure that there are no leaks.
(6)
Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
5. Close-up

Remove the container.

Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(3)
Close the access panel 195BB.
(4)

Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Put warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Blue hydraulic system:
-in the cockpit on the hydraulic section 40VU of the overhead panel, - on the ground service panel of the Blue hydraulic system.
(3)
Make sure that the Blue hydraulic system is depressurized and put it in the maintenance configuration. (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).
(4)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(5)
Drain the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-680-003).
