Installation of the Actuator of the Engine Pump Fire-Valve CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE ACTUATOR AND THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE
_______ TOUCH ACROSS THEIR FULL SURFACES AND CORRECTLY CONNECT WITH :
-
THE DRIVE SHAFT OF THE ACTUATOR ENGAGED IN THE COUPLING OF THE ENGINE PUMP FIRE VALVE
-
THE DOWEL PIN IN THE ADAPTOR PLATE ENGAGED WITH THE HOLE IN THE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY.
(1)
Remove the blanking covers from the actuator (1) and the adaptor plate (5).
(2)
Align the actuator (1) with the pin (6), and put the actuator (1) in position on the adaptor plate (5).
(3)
Make sure that the drive shaft of the actuator engages the engine pump fire-valve correctly.
(4)
Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (3), and install the new O-rings (2) (Ref. TASK 20-29-00-911-001) onto the screws (4).
(5)
Put the clamp halves (3) and (7) in position on the actuator assembly
(1) and the adaptor plate (5).
(6)
Install the screws (4) into the clamp half (7).
(7)
Put the bonding strap (9) in position on the actuator (1), and install the screw (10) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).

Remove the blanking caps and connect the electrical connector (8). Subtask 29-11-52-865-057

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1702GK, 1703GK.
