 FUEL QUANTITY PROCESSOR -07 SOFTWARE

 1. Abnormal Operation
 A. Degraded Display
 (1)
 The tank/cell indication will be degraded if the probable gaging error is between three and five times the normal accuracy. This corresponds to Grade 3 (Reference the table in Paragraph C.).

 (2)
 The Total Fuel Quantity will be degraded if any tank/cell quantity is degraded.


 B. Blanked Display
 (1)
 The tank/cell indication will be blanked if the probable gaging error is worse than five times normal accuracy. This corresponds to Grade 4 (Reference the table in Paragraph C.).

 (2)
 The Total Fuel Quantity will be blanked if any tank/cell quantity is blanked.


 C. FQIC Grade Definition
 (1) The effect on the system is categorized into Grades which are dependant on probable error (ERR) and the specified allowable errors (SAE). The Grade of the FQIC is displayed in the CFDS FQIS STATUS page and are defined as follows:

 NOTE 1: If the Channel/CPU fails the Internal Watchdog circuit is not retriggered and the processor will attempt to restart itself. If the Grade is still 5 after restart the Watchdog is again not triggered a restart occurs again. After 8 tries to restart, counted by a hardware counter, the processor outputs are isolated.
