R  DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT. 
R  (1) Remove and discard the cable ties (1) to release the electrical cable 
R  (8) from the probe (10). 
R  (2) Loosen the terminal screw (7) on the terminal block (2). 
R  (3) Loosen the screws (3), (4) and (5) on the terminal block (2). 
R  (4) Identify and remove the electrical connectors of the cable (8). 
R  (5) Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors. 
R  (6) Remove the bolts (9) and (12). 
R  (7) Remove the probe (10). 
R  (8) Remove the bracket (11) from the probe (10).

 (1) You must obey the fuel safety procedures (Ref. TASK 28-10-00-910-001) when you do work in a fuel tank.
 (2) Make sure that the safety barriers are in position. Subtask 28-42-15-860-053
 B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Make sure that the applicable fuel tank is defueled (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-001).

 (2)
 Make sure that the remaining fuel has been drained from the applicable fuel tank (Ref. TASK 28-25-00-650-003).

 (3)
 Make sure that the applicable MLG door(s) are open (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

 Make sure that the GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is installed on the applicable MLG door actuator.

 Make sure that the access platform is below the applicable access panel 147AZ (148AZ).
