 B. System Report (BITE)
 (1) Do this test:

1. On the MCDU, get access to the FUEL page (Ref. TASK 31-32-00-860-001).
 NOTE : When you push the line key
____ adjacent to FUEL> indication, the Multipurpose Display and Control Unit (MCDU) will initially show the master-channel. The master-channel can be either CH1 or CH2.
 2. On the panel 121VU:
-Open, safety and tag this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2QT.
 3. On the MCDU:
 -push the line key <RETURN until the MAIN SYSTEM REPORT page appears
 -wait approximately 1 minute then push the line key <FUEL PAGE.
 4. Push the line key <LRU IDENTIFICATION.
The MCDU shows the first page of the
master-channel FUEL menu.

Channel 2 is now deactivated
Channel 1 will be the master-channel.

The LRU IDENTIFICATION page comes into
view. The page shows the:

 -channel (CH1)
 -date
 -time
 -aircraft registration
 -PN of the Fuel Quantity Indicating Computer (FQIC).

 Push the line key <RETURN once.

 Push the NEXT PAGE button.

 On the panel 121VU:

-Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2QT.

 10.
 On the panel 49VU:

-Open, safety and tag
this(these) circuit
 breaker(s):
 1QT.


 11.
 On the MCDU:


 Make sure that the PN shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is the same as the FQIC PN (given on the front face of the FQIC).
The MCDU shows page 1 of the CH1 FUEL menu.
The MCDU shows page 2 of the CH1 FUEL menu.
The FQIS status page comes into view. The page shows the:
 -channel (CH1)
 -date
 -time
 -aircraft registration
 -channel grade (CH1 GRADE 1) (CH2 GRADE X)
 -FQIC FIN (3QT)
 -ATA number (28-42-34).
 NOTE : If the R cadensicon 19QT2 and
____ the C cadensicon 20QT messages are shown on the FQIS status page, they can be ignored.
The MCDU shows page 1 of the CH1 FUEL
menu.

Channel 2 is re-activated.

Channel 1 is de-activated
Channel 2 is now the master-channel.

 Make sure that the PN shown on the LRU IDENTIFICATION page is the same as the FQIC PN (given on the front face of the FQIC).
The MCDU shows page 1 of the CH2 FUEL menu.
The MCDU shows page 2 of the CH2 FUEL menu.
The FQIS status page comes into view. The page shows the:
 -channel (CH2)
 -date
 -time
 -aircraft registration
 -channel grade (CH1 GRADE X) (CH2 GRADE 1)
 -FQIC FIN (3QT)
