Install the Position Switch for the TVBCA Valve
(1)
Remove the protection caps.

Lubricate the threads of the bolts, which attach the position switch, with engine oil.

(3) Install the position switch to the TVBCA valve with the bolts.
(a) Tighten the bolts to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5
newton-meters).

(4) Connect the electrical connector to the position switch.

CAUTION: WHEN YOU USE THE STRAP WRENCH, YOU MUST ADJUST THE TORQUE

WRENCH VALUE (AMM 70-23-00/201). IF YOU DO NOT ADJUST THE
TORQUE WRENCH VALUE, THE INCORRECT TORQUE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO
THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR AND UNSATISFACTORY LIGHTNING
PROTECTION.
(5) Use the strap wrench to tighten the electrical connector to 30-35
pound-inches (3.4-4.0 newton-meters).
(a) Install the lockwire (AS3214-01) to the electrical connector.

If it is necessary, remove the shipping cotter pin and tag from the
face of the position switch.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.
