Remove the protection cap from the head.

Install the filter element into the head.

Tighten the filter element with your hand.

Install the case for the filter element on the head.
(a)
Tighten the case to 240 - 300 pound-inches
(27.1 - 33.9 newton-meters).
(b)
Install the lockwire to the case.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition.
