Connect the tube nut for the signal tube of the start bleed valve to the remaining adapter on the aft end of the solenoid. 1) Tighten the tube nut to 200-225 pound-inches (22.6-25.4
newton-meters).

Install the signal tube for the stability bleed valve with the steps that follow: 1) Remove the protection caps from the signal tube. 2) Lubricate the tube nuts for the signal tube. 3) Connect the signal tube to the aft adapter on the stability
bleed pneumatic relay valve. 4) Lubricate the threads of the forward tube adapter with the
antigalling compound. 5) Connect the forward tube adapter to the aft tube nut. 6) Tighten the tube nut at the maintainability break to
200-225 pound-inches (22.6-25.5 newton-meters).
7) Tighten the tube nut connected to the aft adapter to
225-250 pound-inches (25.4-28.2 newton-meters).
8) Lubricate the threads of the bolt, which attaches the tube clamp for the air supply tube of the 15th-stage, with engine oil.
9) Attach the tube clamps for the air supply tube and forward signal tube of the stability bleed valve with the bolt, nut, and spacer, if it is necessary. a) Tighten the bolt to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5
newton-meters).

Lubricate the threads of the bolt, which attaches the clamp for the EEC speed transducer (N1), with engine oil.
(m)
Attach the clamp for the EEC speed transducer (N1) to the signal tube for the stability bleed valve with the bolt and nut. 1) Tighten the bolt to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5
nweton-meters).

Safety all tube nuts and the plug with lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule.
(o)
Install the servo pressure tube with the steps that follow: 1) Remove the protection caps from the servo pressure tube. 2) Connect the tube nut for the servo pressure tube (elbow
end) to the adapter at the bottom of the solenoid. 3) Lubricate the threads of the tube nut for the servo pressure tube with the antigalling compound.
4) Connect the tube nut for the servo pressure tube (straight end) to the adapter on the stability bleed pneumatic relay valve.
5) Tighten the tube nut (elbow end) to 90-100 pound-inches (10.2-11.3 newton-meters). a) Safety the tube nut with lockwire or safety cable and
safety cable ferrule.
6) Tighten the tube nut (straight end) to 65-75 pound-inches (7.3-8.5 newton-meters). a) Safety the tube nut with lockwire or safety cable and
safety cable ferrule. 7) Lubricate the bolts, which attach the clamps for the air supply tubes, with engine oil.
8) Attach the clamps to the air supply tubes of the 15th-stage with the bolts and nuts. a) Tighten the bolts to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5
newton-meters).
CAUTION: USE THE CORRECT ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE, AND TOOLS, FOR THE
_______ HARNESS CONNECTOR INSTALLATION (AMM 70-24-05/201). IF YOU USE THE INCORRECT ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE, OR TOOLS, A DAMAGED OR LOOSE CONNECTOR CAN OCCUR. A LOOSE CONNECTOR PERMITS VIBRATION, WHICH CAUSES THE CONTACTS TO WEAR AND DECREASES THE LIGHTNING PROTECTION.
(p) Connect the EEC electrical connectors to the solenoid (AMM 70-24-05/201).
