 MOTOR WIRING/SVA FAIL (CH-X), ENG-# SVA UNIT FAIL (CH-X), and ENG-#
 SVA LVDT WIRING/SVA FAIL (CH-X).
 NOTE: "ENG-#" is engine 1, 2, 3, or 4; "CH-X" is channel A or____
 channel B of the EEC.

COMPRESSOR STATOR VANE CONTROL SYSTEM - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives four tasks to adjust the control system for the compressor stator vanes. The four tasks include two mechanical procedures and two hydraulic procedures. The four procedures are as follows:
 (1)  
Compressor Stator Vane Control System Adjustment (Hydraulic Procedure).

 (2)  
Compressor Stator Vane Control System Adjustment (Mechanical Procedure).

 (3)  
Variable Stator Vane Actuator Adjustment (Hydraulic Procedure).

 (4)  
Variable Stator Vane Actuator Adjustment (Mechanical Procedure).

 B.  
The adjustment for the compressor stator system will do the rigging of the unison rings and the actuator for the stator vanes.

 C.  
The adjustment of the variable stator vane will do the rigging the actuator for the stator vanes.

 D.  
If the unison ring linkage is adjusted, you must also adjust the actuator for the variable stator vane.

 E.  
The unison ring linkage and the actuator are installed on the right forward case of the high pressure compressor (HPC).

 F.  
You can get access to the unison ring linkage and the actuator through the right thrust reverser.

 G.  
ENGINES WITH PW SPECIAL INSTRUCTION (SI) 17F-93; You cannot rig the IGV stage with this procedure. All adjustments for the 5th- thru 7th-stage are correct as written. Also, the rig pin will not fit in the IGV stage rig hole. Make sure you rig the IGV stage with the instructions in the PW SI 17F-93.
