TURBINE CASE COOLING AIR VALVE CONTROL CABLE -
______________________________________________ REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure gives the instructions for the removal and installation of the Turbine Case Cooling (TCC) air valve control cable. The TCC air valve control cable will be referred to as the control cable for this procedure.
B. The control cable is connected to the actuator for the TCC air valve and the idler arm of the shutoff valve for the High Pressure Turbine (HPT) case cooling air. The actuator is installed at the 2 o'clock position on the forward High Pressure Compressor (HPC) case. The idler arm on the shutoff valve is installed at the 3 o'clock position on the aft Low Pressure Turbine (LPT) case.
C. You can get access to the control cable through the right thrust
reverser.
