3) Remove the servo pressure tube from the engine. 4) Install the protection caps on the openings of the servo pressure tube and adapter.

Remove the four bolts which attach the solenoid and the support bracket to the mount bracket on the intermediate case.
(l)
Remove the solenoid from the engine.
(m)
Install the protection caps to the openings of the air supply manifold and the signal tube.

(2)
If it is necessary to replace the solenoid, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Put the 2.9 bleed valve on a work bench where the adapter cap points to you and the solenoids point to the right of you.
(b)
Remove the two adapters, plug, and gaskets from the aft end of the solenoid.
(c)
Remove the cap from the adapter.
(d)
Remove the two adapters and gaskets from the top of the solenoid.
(e)
Install the protection caps to all openings on the solenoid.
