 B.  The PS3 air filters clean 15th-stage air prior to delivery to the HPC secondary flow control valve and TVBCA valve solenoid, the HPC secondary flow control valve and IDG air/oil heat exchanger valve override solenoid, and/or the 2.9 bleed valve solenoid and stability pneumatic relay valve; or muscle air (servo pressure) from the solenoids to the HPC secondary flow control valves.
 C.  Two filters are found at the 1:30 o'clock position and two filters are found at the 11 o'clock position on the HPC forward case.
 D.  The upper filter at the 1:30 o'clock position cleans 15th-stage air (servo pressure) before it is supplied to the HPC secondary flow control valve and IDG air/oil heat exchanger valve override solenoid, and to the
 2.9 bleed valve solenoid and stability bleed pneumatic relay valve.

E.  The lower filter at the 1:30 o'clock position cleans muscle air (servo pressure) from the HPC secondary flow control valve and IDG air/oil heat exchanger valve override solenoid before it goes into the right HPC secondary flow control valve.
 F.  The upper filter at the 11 o'clock position cleans muscle air (servo pressure) from the HPC secondary flow control valve and TVBCA valve solenoid before it goes into the TVBCA valves.
 G.  The lower filter at the 11 o'clock position cleans muscle air (servo pressure) from the HPC secondary flow control valve and TVBCA valve solenoid before it goes into the left HPC secondary flow control valve.
 H.  Each PS3 air filter assembly includes a filter head, element, and case. A poppet type bypass valve, integral with the filter head, opens at a filter differential pressure of 5 psid (34.5 kPad) and vents muscle air.
