Attach the bracket, the loop clamp bracket and the override solenoid to the intermediate case with the four bolts. 1) Tighten the bolts to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7
newton-meters).
(e)
Remove the protective caps from all open line ends.
(f)
Lubricate the threads of the larger (center) adapter on the rear of the override solenoid with the antigalling compound.
(g)
Connect the supply tube to the center adapter on the rear of the override solenoid. 1) Tighten the tube nut to 225-250 pound-inches (25.4-28.2
newton-meters).
(h)
Lubricate the threads of the smaller adapter on the rear of the override solenoid with engine oil.
(i)
Connect the air signal tube to the smaller adapter on the rear of the override solenoid. 1) Tighten the tube nut to 270-300 pound-inches (30.5-33.9
newton-meters).
(j)
Safety the plug and the tube nuts of the supply tube and the air signal tube with lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule.
(k) Install the pressure switch tube with the steps that follow: 1) Lubricate the threads of the tube nut at the elbow end of the pressure switch tube with engine oil. 2) Lubricate the threads of the tube nut at the straight end of the pressure switch tube with antigalling compound. 3) Connect the elbow end of the pressure switch tube to the adapter on the top of the override solenoid. 4) Connect the straight end of the pressure switch tube to the override pressure switch. 5) Hold the adapter and tighten the tube nut at the elbow end of the pressure switch tube to 90-100 pound-inches (10.2-11.3 newton-meters).
6) Hold the pressure switch and tighten the tube nut at the straight end of the pressure switch tube to 65-75 pound-inches (7.3-8.5 newton-meters).

Safety both tube nuts of the pressure switch tube and the cap on top of the override solenoid with lockwire or safety cable and safety cable ferrule.
(m)
Remove the protection caps from the EEC electrical connectors and their receptacles on the override solenoid.
CAUTION: USE THE CORRECT ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE, AND TOOLS, FOR THE
_______ HARNESS CONNECTOR INSTALLATION (AMM 70-24-05/201). IF YOU USE THE INCORRECT ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE, OR TOOLS, A DAMAGED OR LOOSE CONNECTOR CAN OCCUR. A LOOSE CONNECTOR PERMITS VIBRATION, WHICH CAUSES THE CONTACTS TO WEAR AND DECREASES THE LIGHTNING PROTECTION.
(n)
Connect the EEC electrical connectors to the receptacles on the override solenoid (AMM 70-24-05/201).
G.
Return the Aircraft to Its Usual Condition.

Close the right thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).
