Open the thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

Procedure
S 024-054-N00
(1) Remove the 2.9 Bleed Valve:
(a)
For the right 2.9 bleed valve, remove the 2.9 bleed duct with the steps that follow: 1) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 2.9 bleed duct,
ground bracket, and support bracket for the wire bundle to the 2.9 bleed valve. 2) Remove the 2.9 bleed duct.
(b)
For the left 2.9 bleed valve, remove the 2.9 bleed duct with the steps that follow: 1) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the 2.9 bleed duct,
ground bracket, harness support bracket, and support bracket for the fire detector to the top flange of the 2.9 bleed valve.
2) Remove the 2.9 bleed duct.
(c)
If it is installed, remove the bolts and the cover from the boss on the side of the 2.9 bleed valve.
(d)
Disconnect the signal tube for the 2.9 bleed valve from the adapter on the 2.9 bleed valve. 1) Install the protection caps on the signal tube.
(e)
For the right 2.9 bleed valve, remove the bolts and nuts which attach the burner pressure tube and servo air tubes to the bracket on the lower flange of the 2.9 bleed valve.
