(8) Do the Air/Ground Relay Test:
(a) Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/3 page.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ SLATS BEFORE YOU REMOVE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE AIR/GROUND RELAYS. THE SLATS CAN MOVE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED, TRAILING EDGE FLAPS ARE IN POSITION 1, 2, OR 5 AND THE NOSE OR MAIN LANDING GEAR AIR/GROUND RELAYS INDICATE AN AIRBORNE CONDITION. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breaker on the panel P6.
NOTE: You remove electrical power from the AIR/GROUND relays
____ when you open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breakers.
(c) Make sure the OLEO SWITCH output on the CDU display changes from GND to AIR.

(9) Do the VHF Navigation AUTO/MAN Selection:
(a)
Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/3 page.
(b)
Make sure the captain's and the first officer's HSI switches on the lightshield panel (P7) is in the NAV position.
(c)
Put the captain's and the first officer's AUTO/MAN switches on the aft electronic control panel (P8) to the MAN position.
(d)
Make sure the outputs on the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/3 page are the same as the outputs shown below.
NOTE: The table below show the position of the AUTO/MAN

Put the PMC-1 and PMC-2 switches on the aft overhead panel (P5) to the INOP (OFF) position.
(c)
Make sure the outputs on the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/3 page are the same as the outputs shown below.
