 (14) You can also push the INIT/REF key on the CDU panel to stop FMCS BITE. The CDU display will show these two pages. If the IRS is in the NAV mode, the CDU will show the PERF INIT page. If the IRS is not in the NAV mode, the CDU will show the POS INIT page.

 2.  Operational Test - FMCS_______________________
 A. General
 (1)  
You use the operational test to quickly examine the FMCS.

 (2)  
If there is only one CDU on the airplane, do the procedures written for CDU No. 2 on the CDU No. 1.

 (3)  
The operational test includes:

Annunciator Test

 (b)  
Navigation Data Base and Operational Program Verification

 (c)  
IRS Heading in Altitude Mode

 (d)  
IRS Initialization

 (e)  
Sensor Status

 (3)  S 865-004Make sure the STANDBY POWER switch on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) is in the AUTO position.
 (4)  S 865-006Put the MASTER DIM and TEST switch, on the P1 panel, to the TEST position.
 (5)  S 865-211Make sure all indicator lamps and annunciator lights on the pilots panel operate correctly.
 (6)  S 865-007Put the Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) switch on the Captain's lightshield panel (P7) in the NAV position.
 (7)  S 865-008Put the Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) switch on the First Officer's lightshield panel (P7) in the NAV position.
 (8)  S 865-009Make sure the circuit breakers for these systems are closed and the systems operate correctly.
