(2) Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS BITE 1/1 page.

(3) If the CDU does not show the FMCS BITE 1/1 page, do these steps: (a) Push the INIT REF key on the CDU front panel to show the POS INIT or PERF INIT page. (b) Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page. (c) Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page. (d) Push the LSK adjacent to <FMCS to show the FMCS BITE 1/1 page.

(4) AIRPLANES WITH DUAL FMC; Push the LSK adjacent to LEFT FMC.
NOTE:____ AIRPLANES WITH DUAL FMC; When you do the analog discretes tests, make sure that the left or right status fields are not highlighted. If they are, there is a difference between the FMCs which must be corrected before the test is continued.

(5) Push the LSK adjacent to <DISCRETES to show the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page.

(6) Do the Pack Valves Test: (a) Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG 1/4 page. (b) Put the L PACK and R PACK switches on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the OFF position. (c) Put the BLEED 1 and BLEED 2 switches on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the ON position. (d) Make sure that these circuit breakers, on the P6 panel, are closed:
(e) 1) RAM MOD CONT 2) VALVE PACK R 3) VALVE PACK LMake sure the outputs on the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page are the same as the outputs shown below:
NOTE:____ The table below shows the position of the L PACK and R PACK switches and the related CDU display.

1) After test step 1, disconnect connector D486 from the left pack valve (V18). 2) After test step 6, connect connector D486 to the left pack valve (V18). 3) After test step 4, disconnect connector D490 from the right pack valve (V19). 4) After test step 6, connect connector D490 to the right pack valve (V19). 5) Open the access doors 3304 in the air condition bay to get access to the left and right pack valve.
