 NOTE:____ The applicable Airline Department will have the correct part numbers for the navigation data base and the operational program.
 (e)  Make sure the date of the navigation data base on the CDU IDENT page 1/1 is correct.
 NOTE:____ You can find the active navigation data base dates on the line under ACTIVE. The applicable Airline Department will have this data.
 (f)  Make sure the engine configuration (or engine rating) on the CDU IDENT 1/1 page agrees with the engines on the airplane.
 NOTE:____ The engine configurarion (or engine rating) shown on the CDU display is same as for the engine with the lower thrust rating.
 (g)  If the engines operate at the lower thrust rating, make sure the thrust rating is correct.
 NOTE:____ The FMC program pins are connected for different engine configurations. The CDU will show PROGRAM PIN ERROR if the pins are connected in a configuration not in the FMC.
 (h)  Push the LSK adjacent to POS INIT> to show the POS INIT 1/2 (or 1/3) page.
 NOTE:____ You can also push the CDU INIT REF key to show the POS INIT 1/2 (or 1/3) page on the display.

 (i)  Make sure the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on each CDU agrees with the GMT on the Captain's clock.
 G. IRS Heading in Attitude Mode

Do the preparation test in this task: "Operational Test - FMCS" if it is necessary.

Push the INIT REF key on the CDU panel to show the POS INIT 1/2 (or 1/3) page.

 (a)  
Push the INIT REF key on the CDU panel to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.

 (c)  
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.

 (d)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <FMCS to show the FMCS BITE 1/1 page.

 (e)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <SENSORS to show the FMCS SENSOR STATUS 1/1 page.

 (f)
