Put the L PACK and R PACK switches to the OFF position.
(i)
Make sure the ECS PACK LEFT and ECS PACK RIGHT show OFF on the CDU display.

(7) Do the Isolation Valve Test:
(a)
Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page.
(b)
Put the L PACK and R PACK switches on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the HIGH position.
(c)
Put the ISOLATION VALVE switch on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the CLOSE position.
(d)
Make sure the ISOL VALVE output on the CDU display shows CLOSE.
(e)
Put the ISOLATION VALVE switch in the OPEN position.
(f)
Make sure the ISOL VALVE output shows OPEN on the CDU display.

(8) Do the Anti-Ice Switch Test:
(a)
Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page.
(b)
Put the L PACK and R PACK switches on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the HIGH position.
(c)
Make sure the ENG ANTI-ICE 1 and ENG ANTI-ICE 2 switches on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) are in the OFF position.
(d)
Put the WING ANTI-ICE switch on the Pilot's Forward Overhead Panel (P5) to the OFF position.
(e)
Make sure the outputs on the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page are the same as the outputs shown below:
NOTE: The table below shows the position of the ENGINE

(f) Put the L PACK and R PACK switches to the OFF position.

(9) Do the Air/Ground Relay Test:
(a) Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ SLATS BEFORE YOU REMOVE ELECTRICAL POWER FROM THE AIR/GROUND RELAYS. THE SLATS CAN MOVE AUTOMATICALLY WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM IS PRESSURIZED, THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS ARE IN POSITION 1, 2, OR 5, AND THE NOSE OR MAIN LANDING GEAR AIR/GROUND RELAYS INDICATE AN AIRBORNE CONDITION. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breaker on the panel P6.
NOTE: You remove electrical power from the AIR/GROUND relays
____ when you open the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breakers.
(c)
Make sure the OLEO SWITCH output on the CDU display changes from GND to AIR.
(d)
Close the LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LIGHTS circuit breaker.

(10) Do the VHF Navigation AUTO/MAN Selection:
(a)
Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page.
(b)
Put each of the AUTO/MAN switches on the VHF NAV control panel (P8) to the MAN position.
(c)
Make sure the outputs on the FMCS ANALOG DISC 1/4 page are the same as the outputs shown below:
