 (j)  
Change the time and date on the first officers clock.

 (k)  
Make sure the Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and date on each CDU agrees with the GMT on the first officer's clock.

 (l)  
Close this circuit breaker,

 (3)  Do these steps to prepare for the fixed outputs test:
 (a)  
On the VHF NAV control panels, put the AUTO/MAN switch in the AUTO position.

 (b)  
On the EFIS control panels, put the mode selector switch in the MAP position and the Range switch to 80.

 (c)  
Make sure that the CDU display shows the FMCS BITE 1/1 page.

 (4)  
Do these steps to do a test of the FMCS fixed outputs.

 S 284-047

 (5)  
Do these steps again with the FMC SOURCE SELECT SWITCH in the BOTH ON R position.

 (a)  
Push the LSK adjacent to LEFT FMC to do a test of the FMC fixed outputs.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to (<FIXED OUTPUTS>).

 (c)  
Make sure the outputs on the FMCS FIXED OUTPUTS 1/2 page are the same as the outputs shown below:

 (d)  
On the engine instrument system - primary (EIS-P), on the P2 panel, make sure the command N1 index is at 90%.

 (e)  
Make sure that the indication at the top of the EIS-P goes from CRZ to GA in the same sequence shown on the CDU.

 (f)  
Put the HSI switches on each of the EFIS control panels to the MAP position.

 (g)  
Make sure that each EHSI shows FMC INTERFACE OK.

 (h)  
Push the NEXT PAGE on the CDU and make sure the CDU shows the FMCS FIXED OUTPUTS 2/2 page.

 (i)  
Make sure the FAIL MSG, and OFST annunciators on the CDU are on.

 (j)  
On the autoflight status annunciator, make sure that the FMC alert light is on.

Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the FMCS BITE 1/1 page.

 (7)
Make sure the FMC SOURCE SELECT SWITCH is in the NORMAL position.


 G. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 (1) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
