A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the ACARS (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If, during the operational test, the ACARS cannot control the VHF3 frequency through an RMP:
- replace the MU-ACARS (1RB) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin AA/7C of the ACARS MU (1RB) (Ref. ASM 23-24/01).
(a) If there is no ground signal:
- repair the wiring of the DFS PORT SELECT DISCRETE from the ACARS MU (1RB) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 23-24/01).
(b) If there is a ground signal:
- replace the XCVR-VHF, 3 (1RC3) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-400-001).
