R B. If the test gives the maintenance message HF1 (3RE1):
R - do a check of the circuit breaker (1RE1) status.
R (1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
R - do a check for 115VAC at pins AC/4, 5, 6 of the HF 1 transceiver
R (3RE1) (Ref. ASM 23-11/01).
R (a) If there is 115VAC:
R - replace the XCVR-HF, 1 (3RE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-000-001)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-400-001).
R (b) If there is no 115VAC:
R - do a check for a ground signal at pin AC/8 of the HF 1
R transceiver (3RE1) (Ref. ASM 23-11/01).
R 1_ If there is no ground signal:
R - repair the wiring between the HF 1 transceiver (3RE1) pin
R AC/8 and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 23-11/01).
R 2_ If there is a ground signal:
R - do a check of the wiring from the circuit breaker (1RE1) to
R the HF 1 transceiver (3RE1) pins AC/4, 5, 6 (Ref. ASM 23-R 11/01).
R a_ If there is no continuity:
R - repair the above wiring.
R b_ If there is continuity:
R - replace the circuit breaker (1RE1).
R (2) If the circuit breaker is open:
R - close it.
R (a) If it opens again:
R - replace the HF 1 transceiver (3RE1)(Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-000-R 001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-400-001).
R 1_ If the fault continues:
R - do a check for a short to ground at the wiring (between the
R HF 1 transceiver (3RE1) pins AC/4, 5, 6 and the circuit
R breaker (1RE1)) (Ref. ASM 23-11/01).
