A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

B. Job Set-up
On the RMP 1 only, make sure that the ON/OFF switch is at ON.
C. Test On the CFDS MENU page, get access to the AVIONICS STATUS page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-869-002).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message NO RMP 1 DATA:
- replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the COM 1 DATA OUTPUT signal, (from RMP 1 (1RG1) pins A/<P, <Q to the first terminal block) (Ref. ASM 23-13/02).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.C.

A. If the test gives the maintenance message RMP1 NO DATA FROM CFDIU:
- replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the BUS 1 OUTPUT signal, (from RMP 1 (1RG1) pins A/A, B to the first terminal block)(Ref. ASM 31-32/02).
R **ON A/C 062-099, 106-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
A. If the test gives the maintenance message CFDIU(1TW)/RMP1(1RG1):
- replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the BUS 1 OUTPUT signal, (from RMP 1 (1RG1) pins A/A, B to the first terminal block)(Ref. ASM 31-32/02).
