3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the HF system (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-00-710-001).
NOTE : Do this test for the HF 2 system only.

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the reception function is not possible during the operational test of the HF 2 system:
- replace the 3RE2 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the AMU (1RN) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring from the HF 2 transceiver (3RE2) to the AMU (1RN) of the AUDIO SIDETONE OUTPUT signal, from pins AB/1D, 1E to pins AA/5A, 5B (Ref. ASM 23-11/02).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

A. If the test gives the maintenance message CFDIU (1TW)/HF1 (3RE1):
- replace the XCVR-HF, 1 (3RE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-11-33-400-001).
