A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the mechanic call (Ref. AMM TASK 23-42-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If during the operational test the mechanical call horn does not operate:
- replace the HORN-MECH CALL (15WC) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-42-21-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-42-21-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the RELAY-HORN SUPPLY (4WC).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the P/B SW-CALLS/MECH (1WC).
(3) If the fault continues:
- do a check of DIODE MODULE (1160VD) pins 4 and 19 (Ref. ASM 23-42/01).
(a) If the diode is defective:
- replace the DIODE MODULE (1160VD)

A. If during the operational test the buzzer in the aural warning loud
speakers does not operate:
- do a check of diode module (1801VD) pins 1 and 16 (Ref. ASM 23-42/01).
(1) If the diode is defective:
- replace the DIODE MODULE (1801VD).
(2) If the diode is not defective:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the diode module (1801VD) to the first module (Ref. ASM 23-42/01).
