(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).
(b) If the fault continues:
- remove the VHF 3 transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-000-001)
- remove the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001)
- check and repair the wiring of the ATSU FREQ SELECT INPUT PORTA between pins AA/1E, 1F of the ATSU and pins AB/11A, 11B of the VHF 3 transceiver (Ref. ASM 46-21/06).
- check and repair the wiring of the ATSU INPUT BUS COM-2 between pins AB/1G, 1H of the ATSU and pins AB/12A, 12B of the VHF 3 transceiver (Ref. ASM 46-21/06).
- install the ATSU (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001)
- install the VHF 3 transceiver (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-400-001).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.A.

4. Fault Isolation

A. The transmission function is not possible during the operational test of the VHF 1/VHF 2 system:
- Do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 23-12-00-810-813) for the VHF 1.
- Do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 23-12-00-810-815) for the VHF 2.
(1) If the reception function is not possible during the operational test of the VHF1/VHF 2 system:
- Do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 23-12-00-810-814) for the VHF 1.
- Do the procedure (Ref. TSM TASK 23-12-00-810-816) for the VHF 2.
(a) If the fault continues and if the Captain does a report of the event:
- Replace on the Captain's side stick the CAPT PTT SWITCH (11RN), (Ref. AMM TASK 27-92-41-000-010) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-92-41-400-010).
