A. Maintenance Action
(1) Do the operational test of the passenger entertainment (video) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-00-710-001).
(a) If the test indicates a defective PES video system, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
(b) If the operational test of the passenger entertainment (video) does not indicate a defective video system, do the operational test of the passenger visual information-system (Ref. AMM TASK 23-34-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. Maintenance Action
(1) If the PVIS is not available:
- replace the DIGITAL INTERFACE UNIT (DIU) (190MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-34-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-34-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the CONTROL UNIT - REMOTE (191MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-34-35-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-34-35-400-001).
(3) If the fault continues:
- do a check of and repair the aircraft wiring between the DIGITAL INTERFACE UNIT (DIU) (190MH) and the prewired mounting plate (Ref. ASM 23-34/01).
(4) If the fault continues:
- do a check of and repair the aircraft wiring between the CONTROL UNIT - REMOTE (191MH) and the prewired mounting plate (Ref. ASM 23-34/01).
5. Close-up
