3. Fault Confirmation
__________________
A. If the BITE test of the video system gives the maintenance message: NO SCU DATA
- do the BITE test of the video system again (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-00-740-002)
4. Fault Isolation

A. Maintenance Action
(1) If the BITE test gives the maintenance message: NO SCU DATA
- do a check and repair the aircraft wiring between the SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT (11MH) connector J1C/10 the J1C/13, and the DIR-CIDS,1 (101RH) connector AA/F8, G8, J13 and K13 respectively (Ref. ASM 23-36/01)
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-001)
B. Do the test as given in Para. 3.

- do the BITE test of the video system again (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-00-740-002)
4. Fault Isolation

A. Maintenance Action
(1) If the BITE test gives the maintenance message: TEST ABORTED
- do a check and repair the aircraft wiring between the SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT (11MH) connector J1C/10 thru J1C/13, and the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) connector AA/F8, G8, J13, and K13 respectively (Ref. ASM 23-36/01).
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001).
NOTE : When the DIR-CIDS, 1 is removed, the DIR-CIDS, 2 automatically

takes control of the system.
(3) If the fault does NOT continue:
- install a serviceable DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).

(4) If the fault continues:
- replace the SYSTEM CONTROL UNIT (11MH) (11MH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-36-34-400-001)
(5) If the fault continues:
- replace the DIR-CIDS, (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001)
B. Do the test as given in Para. 3.
