 - replace the AMU (1RN) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-51-34-400-001).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring from VHF 3 transceiver (1RC3) to AMU (1RN) of the AUDIO SIDETONE OUTPUT signal, from pins AB/15A, 15B to pins AA/3A, 3B) (Ref. ASM 23-51/06).
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

 4. Fault Isolation

 A. If the test gives the maintenance message CFDIU (1TW)/VHF1 (1RC1):
 - replace the XCVR-VHF, 1 (1RC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-12-33-400-001).
 (1) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the BUS 1 OUTPUT signal, (from VHF 1 transceiver (1RC1) pins AB/6A, 6B to the first terminal block)(Ref. ASM 31-32/02).
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.B.
