A. Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the SATCOM System (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-00-740-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message ACARSMU(1RB)/SDU1(105RV1)
- replace the MU-ACARS (1RB) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the SDU (105RV1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the SATCOM SDU
- remove the ACARS MU
- do a check and repair the wiring of the DATA BUS INPUT ACARS signal (from the ACARS MU (1RB) pins AA/7G,7H and pins AA/2C,2D to the SDU (105RV1) pins AB/1G,1H and pins AB/1J,1K) (Ref. ASM 23-28/06)
- install the SATCOM SDU
- install the ACARS MU.

(1) Do the BITE test of the SATCOM System (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-00-740-001).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message ADIRU1(1FP1)/SDU1(5RV1):
- replace the ADIRU-1 (1FP1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the SDU (105RV1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-28-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the SATCOM SDU
- remove the ADIRS 1
- do a check and repair the wiring of the 429 BUS 2 INPUT signal (from the ADIRS (1FP1) pins AB/5E,6E to the SDU (105RV1) pins AB/6A,6B) (Ref. ASM 23-28/06)
- install the SATCOM SDU
- install the ADIRS 1.
