Remove and discard the lockwire from the filter (4).
(2)
Loosen and remove the filter (4).

If the filter is dirty, clean the filter (Ref. TASK 36-11-43-100-001), or replace it with a new or a clean filter (Ref. TASK 36-11-43-000-003) and (Ref. TASK 36-11-43-400-003).

Remove and discard the seal (2).
(5)
Put a blanking plug on the opening of the thermostat (3).
