B. Safety Precautions
R R (1) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
R R R R R R (2) On the AIR COND panel 30VU: - make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on) - make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off) - put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
R R (3) On the ENG panel 115VU: - put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
R R (4) On the HP ground connector: - put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
R R R R (5) On the ENG section of the panel 50VU: - make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off - put a warning notice in position to tell persons not to energize the FADEC system.

R (1) Open the access doors: FOR 8HA1 415AL, 415AR FOR 8HA2 425AL, 425AR
(2) Put the access platform in position below the engine.

A. Removal of the Bleed Regulated Pressure Transducer NOTE : Use a second wrench to hold the union when you disconnect/connect

the pneumatic sense lines on the union.
(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the pressure transducer (4).
(2)
Remove and discard the lockwire from the sense line (6).
(3)
Disconnect the sense line (6) from the coupling (5).
(4)
Remove the screws (3) and the washers (2).
(5)
Remove the pressure transducer (4).
(6)
Remove the coupling (5) from the pressure transducer (4).
(7)
Remove the packing (7) and discard it.
(8)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(9)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
