A. Removal of the Lower High Pressure (HP) Duct
(1)
Remove the coupling (10) and the E-seal (5) that connect the lower HP duct (15) to the HP tee duct.
(2)
Disconnect the muscle pressure tube from the lower HP duct (15).
(3)
Put protective covers on the muscle pressure tube and the fitting on the lower HP duct (15).
(4)
Remove the bolts (20) and the E-seals (25), at two places, that connect the lower HP duct (15) to the engine ports.
(5)
Remove the lower HP duct (15) from the engine.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1) Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2) Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3) On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released
(the OFF legend is on), R - Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON R legend is off),
-Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system is in position.
