A. Removal of the IP Bleed Check Valve
CAUTION : SOME PRESSURE CAN STAY IN THE DUCTING. THE PRESSURE WILL

DECREASE WHEN YOU RELEASE THE CLAMPS.
(1)
Remove the couplings (20) and the E-seals (15) from between the mid-stage tee duct (5) and the Intermediate Pressure (IP) bleed check valve (25).
(2)
Remove the couplings (20) and the E-seals (15) from between the IP bleed check valve (25) and the fifth-stage elbow duct (10).
(3)
Remove the IP bleed check valve (25) from the engine.
(4)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
(5)
Keep the E-seals (15) for installation.

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-
Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on).
-
Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
