A. Removal of the Upper High Pressure (HP) Duct
(1)
Remove the bolts (10) and the E-seal (5), that attach the upper HP duct (35) to the engine port.
(2)
Remove the bolt (15), the washer (20) and the nut (25) that attach the upper HP duct (35) to the support link (65).
(3)
If necessary, remove the bushing (30) from the upper HP duct (35).
(4)
Disconnect the hose and remove the union from the upper HP duct (35).
(5)
Remove the coupling (45) and the E-seal (40), that connect the upper HP duct (35) to the HP tee duct.
(6)
Remove the coupling (55) and the E-seal (50), that connect the upper HP duct (35) to the engine port.
(7)
Remove the upper HP duct (35) from the engine.
(8)
Put blanking plugs on the engine ports, the HP tee duct, and the upper HP duct (35).
(9)
Put protective covers on the hose and the boss in the upper HP duct (35).

A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(3)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-
Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on),

Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off),
