D. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-make sure that the ENG 1 BLEED and ENG 2 BLEED pushbutton switches are pushed (the OFF legends are off),
-push the PACK 1 and PACK 2 pushbutton switches (OFF legends are off),
-set the PACK FLOW selector switch to LO,
-
make sure that the X BLEED selector switch is set to AUTO,
-
make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off).
(2)
Start the APU to pressurize the pneumatic system:
-GTCP 36-300 (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003)
or
-APS 3200 (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-005)
or
-131-9(A) (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-008).
(3)
Start the engines and keep them at idle (Ref. TASK 71-00-00-710-003).
(4)
Do the EIS start procedure (ECAM system only) (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).

4. Procedure

A. Do this test

1. On the ECAM control panel 11VU:
-push the BLEED pushbutton switch.
2. On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-release the APU BLEED
pushbutton switch.
3. On the throttle levers:
-speed-up ENG 1 and ENG 2 up to 35 per cent of N1.
On the lower ECAM DU:
the BLEED page comes into view and
shows:
-APU BLEED VALVE in line green,
-CROSS BLEED VALVE in line green,
-PRV ENG 1 and ENG 2 crossline green,
-HPV ENG 1 and ENG 2 crossline green,
-pressure and temperature of BLEED APU.
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-the ON legend of the APU BLEEDpushbutton switch goes off.
- on the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED page shows:
-APU BLEED VALVE crossline green,
-CROSSBLEED VALVE crossline green,
-PRV ENG 1 and ENG 2 in line green,
-HPV ENG 1 and ENG 2 in line green,
-
ENG 1 and ENG 2 pressure between 20 psi (1.3789 bar) and 39 psi (2.6889 bar),
-
ENG 1 and ENG 2 temperature between 150 deg.C (302.00 deg.F) and 200 deg.C (392.00 deg.F).
On the lower ECAM DU, the BLEED pageshows:
-APU BLEED VALVE crossline green,
-CROSSBLEED VALVE crossline green,
-PRV ENG 1 and ENG 2 in line green,
-HPV ENG 1 and ENG 2 in line green,
-
ENG 1 and ENG 2 pressure: 36 psi (2.4821 bar) plus or minus 4 psi (0.2757 bar),
-
ENG 1 and ENG 2 temperature: 200 deg.C (392.00 deg.F) plus 10 deg.C
