A. Energize the aircraft electrical circuits

B. Safety Precautions
(1)
Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.
(2)
On the AIR COND panel 30VU:
-make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released
(the OFF legend is on), R - make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON R legend is off),
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system.
(3)
On the ENG panel 115VU:
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2).
(4)
On the HP ground connector:
-Put a warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system.
(5)
On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:
-make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off,
-put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2).

A. Removal of the Mid-Stage Tee Duct
(1)
Remove the coupling (10) and the E-seal (15) that connect the mid stage tee duct (20) to the bleed pressure regulator valve (5).
(2)
Remove the E-seal (15) and the coupling (10) that connect the mid stage tee duct (20) to the High Pressure (HP) bleed valve (40).
(3)
Remove the coupling (10) and the E-seal (15) that connect the mid stage tee duct (20) to the HP bleed check valve (45).
(4)
Disconnect the tube from the union (55) in the mid stage tee duct (20).
(5)
Remove the union (55) from the mid stage tee duct (20).
(6)
Remove the nuts (35), the washers (30), and the bolts (25), from the support links (50) that are connected to the brackets on the mid stage tee duct (20).
(7)
Move the support links (50) clear of the mid stage tee duct (20) and remove the duct from the engine.
(8)
Put blanking plugs on the ends of the mid stage tee duct (20).
(9)
Put blanking plugs on the bleed pressure regulator valve (5), the HP bleed valve (40), and the Intermediate Pressure (IP) bleed check valve (45).

(10) Put protective covers on the HP sense tube and the boss on the mid stage tee duct (20).
