 Remove the fan air valve (Ref. TASK 36-11-54-000-001) to do the visual inspection of the flaps.

 Remove the precooler (Ref. TASK 36-11-42-000-001) to do the visual inspection of the tubes.

 A. Visual Inspection of the Fan Air Valve and Bleed-Air Precooler Exchanger after Hail Strike
 WARNING : DO NOT GET CLEANING FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES. PUT ON
_______ PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, GOGGLES AND A FACE MASK. USE THE FLUID IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT BREATHE THE VAPOR. IF YOU GET THE CLEANING FLUID ON YOUR SKIN OR IN YOUR EYES FLUSH IT AWAY WITH WATER. GET MEDICAL AID IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
 (1)
 Clean dirty parts with a lint-free cloth and CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-008).

 (2)
 With a lamp and mirror, examine visually if you found the following damage:

 -craks
 -marks
 -distortions, especially at location of the connecting ends lips of the valve.
 -missing components, especially at location of the tubes of the inlet flange and outlet flange of the precooler.

 (3)
 If necesary, replace the fan air valve (Ref. TASK 36-11-42-400-001) and (or) the precooler (Ref. TASK 36-11-54-400-001).
